Step by Step guide: How to Use Breakout Rooms Dashboard 

Welcome to the Breakout Rooms Dashboard! This guide will walk you through the steps to effectively manage breakout rooms for your Zoom workshops or training sessions. This guide is designed to provide a smooth and efficient experience, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced instructor. 

1. Getting Started and Setup 

Step 1: Pre-Session Setup 

  1. Initiate the Zoom meeting
    • Open the Zoom Workplace app or Zoom on web, to start preparing for an upcoming meeting. 
    • Click the New meeting button on the home screen, or Join a scheduled Zoom meeting.  
    • Copy the meeting URL, by clicking on the Zoom app > Participants > Copy Invite Link.  
  2. Setup the Breakout Rooms Dashboard 
    • Open the Breakout Rooms dashboard via browser, go to https://togeder.io/  
    • Paste the meeting invite URL, and click on Join Meeting

  2. Tip: We recommend opening the Breakout Rooms Dashboard app on a separate screen than the Zoom app itself. Recommended resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels to manage multiple breakout rooms on the same screen.
